A BRIEF HISTORY

Once upon a time, way back in July 1967, a young ambitious, aspiring business man purchased a 25 unit motel at 545 Montreal Rd. At the time this motel was known as the "Roland 's Motel". He successfully ran this business with the help of his wife for the next six years. |

| In 1973 he pursued to buy out the neighboring property, a small motel then called "Tourist Court Cabins". After removing the little cabins, he then built a row of motel rooms. This addition of twenty - six rooms stands as our west wing today. |  |
| Later that same year, he completely gutted and rebuilt a state of the art concrete swimming pool. Years passed and with the help of his children, business continued to thrive. However, since no one knew who Roland was, we figured that a name change was in order. |  |
| Thus The Mirada Inn was born. In 1986 we again added new construction , building twenty seven new rooms to our motel, at the same time renovating the first 25 rooms we began with. It was at this time that we decided to add a restaurant to our property. Now that we have maximized out our property space ,we pour all our energy into up keeping it and making it still the best accommodation on this side of the city. |  |
